Assistant/Associate or Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology
Apply Keck School of Medicine Faculty Los Angeles, CaliforniaThe Department of Ophthalmology/USC Roski Eye Institute, Keck School of Medicine of USC, is seeking a full-time, non-tenure-track, American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery’s (ASOPRS) fellowship-trained, board-eligible, or board-certified clinical faculty in oculofacial plastic surgery at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level to join our department’s Oculofacial Plastic Surgery Service. The successful candidates will have an academic title of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology.

Job Accountabilities/Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Provides outstanding clinical services in oculofacial plastic surgery.
- Proficiency in orbital, lacrimal, and eyelid surgeries is required.
- Excellence in facial cosmetic surgeries and procedures is desirable.
- Actively involve in the teaching and mentoring of students, interns, residents, and fellows.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Applicants should be trained and experienced in oculofacial plastic surgery and completed an ASOPRS/AUPO approved fellowship.
- Applicants must hold an M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent degree and have or be eligible to obtain a full, unrestricted California medical license by the time of hire.
- Interest in clinical, translational, or basic science research with a track record of productive research and the goal of obtaining extramural funding in the future is preferred.
Position Summary and Compensation:
The annual base salary for this full-time, non-tenure-track, and exempt faculty position will be between $226,000 - $319,000 plus productivity incentives. The annual base salary is dependent on the rank hired into and commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
